Organizational Diagnostic

The Competitive Index

A clear, data-driven read on where your organization stands across eight dimensions of competitive advantage.

Proven inside organizations including GE and Rockefeller Capital Management.
Why it's different

More than an engagement survey.

An engagement survey asks how people feel. The Competitive Index™ gives leaders real data on where the organization stands — across eight dimensions of competitive advantage. Engagement explains morale; the Competitive Index™ explains why a “happy” organization is slow to decide, weak at execution, or losing to faster competitors.

Who it’s for

Where leaders put the Competitive Index™ to work

Questions leaders ask

About the Competitive Index™

How is the Competitive Index™ different from an employee engagement survey?

An engagement survey tells you how people feel. The Competitive Index™ tells you how the organization competes — across eight dimensions of competitive advantage, from leadership and decision-making to talent, systems, and risk mindset. Engagement explains morale; the CI explains why a “happy” organization can still be slow to decide, weak at execution, or losing to faster rivals. It is a leadership and competitiveness diagnostic, not a sentiment poll.

How long does it take, and how many questions?

It is intentionally short: 32 questions, five minutes or less. That brevity is a design choice — participation stays high and prioritization stays honest. There is a single, universal survey, so there are no branching paths or industry variants to manage. Most organizations move from launch to a facilitated debrief in a matter of weeks.

Who is it for?

It is built for moments where competitiveness is on the line: a new or incoming CEO who needs an objective read, a major transformation, a private-equity value-creation plan that needs a baseline against benchmarks, or a targeted improvement where an underperforming team or function needs to know where to focus first.

What do we get back?

An eight-dimension Diagnostic Report benchmarked against our dataset, a facilitated debrief that turns the data into a shared readout, and a clear focus on the highest-need area. The Premier package adds a priority strengths-and-risks summary, two coaching sessions with a Senior Advisor, and an on-site debrief.

How much does it cost?

Introductory pricing for organizations up to 250 employees is $10,000 (Core) or $20,000 (Premier) per engagement. Custom pricing is available for larger organizations and expanded advisory support. Request an introduction and we will be transparent about cost up front.
